Born January 29, 1859, at Bountiful, Utah. Daughter of Vasco Call and Charlotte Holbrook. Married to Moses Muir on March 15, 1876, in the old Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Mother of eleven children.
She moved with her husband and three children to her new home in Hatch, Idaho, in April, 1882. The trip was made by train to McCammon where she was met by her husband. The journey from here was made by wagon through the mud and snow.
Her new home was built of slabs on their homestead in Hatch where she resided for ten years. In 1892 her husband built a large brick home for his family in Chesterfield, Idaho, to which they moved in the fall the same year. In 1890 she was made president of the Chesterf ield primary and held this position for ten years. She was also an ardent worker in the Relief Society and is still active in this work.
The family moved to Logan, Utah, in 1911 where her husband passed away November 19, 1919, and where she now lives.
She became a grandmother at the age of 35 and a great grandmother at 61.
She has living: 5 children, 38 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren, six of her own having passed away.
Her hobby is knitting and quilt making. In her 75th year she pieced and quilted alone, 36 quilts.
Her life has been spent for her church, family and friends, with never a thought for herself.
