Patricia Jane Atkinson passed into eternal peace on 17 January, 2007. She was born on 24 October, 1931 in Los Gatos, CA, to Elva Davis and Floyd Balzer at home.
Patricia graduated from Los Gatos High School in 1949. She did post-graduate work at San Jose State University and USC in psychology and languages. She retired from the California State Employment Development Department in 1985. She served on the President's Committee for the Handicapped.
Patricia is survived by her husband Robert Atkinson of Tiburon; sister Judith Davis of Indiana; children Bill Partridge of Los Gatos; Steve Partridge of San Jose and Deirdre McKerral of San Jose; step-children Avis J. Wolfer, Julie A. Edwards, and Kenneth R. Atkinson; and many great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Saint Hillary's Catholic Church in Tiburon, on Thursday, January 25th. She was laid to rest on Friday, January 26th, 2007 at the Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
