DORA ADAMS
VERNON – Mrs. Dora O. Adams, 82, a lifelong resident of the Vernon area, died yesterday at the Vernon View Nursing Home. She had been a patient for two years.
She was born in Oriskany Falls, December 24, 1878, the daughter of Henry and Martha Streeter Oliver.
She was married to Bertram C. Adams in Vernon, December 1910. Mr. Adams died April 16, 1949.
She leaves three sons, Glenn of Sherrill, Kenneth of Oneida, and Clifford of Vernon and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 Monday at the Alger Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl E. Noyes, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Oneida, officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vernon.
