Mr. Ford was a Vietnam War Veteran of the Army. He was born in Muhlenburg County to Lanella Clardy Ford, and the late Woodrow Wilson Ford. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and was discharged honorably as a specialist fifth class with good conduct medal and a purple heart. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Vineyard Ford, and two daughters, Rhonda Carol (Steven) Morcz and Kelly Marie (Jerry) Howard, and grandchildren, Brhett and Garrett Morcz, and Savannah and Tanner Howard, all of Owensboro, his mother, Lanella Ford, and a brother, Larry Hale Ford of Greenville, Kentucky, and a sister, Patricia Ann Steele of Madisonville, Kentucky.
