Luke Landers
Funeral services for Luke Landers, 66, of Jolo, who died Sunday at his home following a long illness, will be conducted Wednesday at 11a.m. at Bradshaw Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens in Richlands, Va.
Born in Marshall, N.C., he was a son of the late Bevey and Tena Shelton Landers.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Rife Landers; six daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Vernie) Lester of Jolo, Mrs. C. O. (Myrtle) Davis, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Drake, Mrs. Marvin (Jean) Moore, and Marie, and Vivian Landers all of Cleveland, Ohio; five sons, Corman, Norman, Robert, David, and Brown Landers, also of Cleveland; and five brothers, Milt, George, Rolan, Arnold, and Dempsey all of Marshall; and 12 grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the home at 3p.m. today.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is in charge of arrangements.
