Buried beside her husband, my grandfather, Albert Brown~ Albert never remarried after her passing~Elizabeth was of German & French decent, her Grand father John Conrad Werdig was from Prussia, her father Hermann Werdig was born in Washington, DC and her Mothers name was Susan Nancy Thomas, Elizabeth (lizzie) had one brother and several sisters. Still learning about her side of the family. My grandmother died of complications of diabetes at what I consider a young age.
