Darla Renee Anderson Sain, 23, died at her home northwest of Wellington, Thursday, August 25. She was the wife of Mort Sain.

She lived in Wellington 9 years, coming here when her father became minister of The Church of Christ.

After her marriage, she lived in Amarillo, but she and her husband returned here several months ago.

Mrs. Sain was born April 17, 1960 in Amarillo, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Anderson.

She graduated from Wellington High School in 1978, and prior to that she attended school in Memphis, San Marcos, Weatherford, OK and Stinnett.

She was married to Mort Sain of Dodson on October 22, 1978. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Burial was in North Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors are her husband Mort Sain; one son, Danny Sain; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Anderson of Amarillo; a brother, Terry Anderson of Amarillo; and a twin sister, Starla Kay McCartney of Desoto.
