GALLUP — Funeral mass for Alfonso Mario Estrada, 23, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Gonzalo Guzman, OFM, will officiate. Visitation will be at Rollie Mortuary Chapel today from noon to 6 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

A rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Estrada was a 1999 graduate of Gallup High School and he was employed with Amigo Chevrolet. He was an active softball player and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his father, Polo Chaidez of Gallup; mother Sandra Chaidez of Gallup; daughter, Marianna Estrada of Gallup; sister, Erica Cardona of Gallup; brothers, Marcos Estrada, Raul Chaidez both of Gallup; paternal grandparents, Natalia and Jose Chaidez of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Anthony Olguin of Gallup and Bobby Baca of Gallup.

Estrada was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Martin Baca, Manuel Estrada, Jose Olguin; great-grandmothers, Adela Olguin, Estrella Baca; maternal grandmother, Josie Olguin and paternal grandmother, Luz Vasquez.

Pallbearers will be Oscar Chaidez, Raul Chaidez, Salvador Chaidez, Jr., Marcos Estrada, Robert Estrada, Jr., Larry Martinez, Isaac Montano and Edwardo Olguin.
