Hank Becker, 76, was a resident of Seal Beach, CA. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and the Sisters of St. Joseph. Hank was born in Douglas, AZ on June 17, 1930 to Henry and Ana Simon-Becker. His father Henry died before Hank was born. The family moved to Lynwood, CA in the mid 40's where Hank attended Lynwood High School and Compton College. He married Betty Jane Kocks in 1949. They were married for 26 years and remained friends until he died. His legacy continues on in the lives of his 9 children, Sister Sharon Becker CSJ, Christopher Becker, Cynthia Becker, Valerie Beres (Al), Craig Becker, Clark Becker, Carl Becker, Susan McCleary (Michael), Jeffrey Scott Becker; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one special nephew, Robert Shamas; a very precious cousin, Lucy Simon-McClure & his fiancé Bobby Gleiser. Also his fat cat, Sade. Hank also had many accomplishments, but was very proud that he had just entered his 50th year as a State Farm Insurance Agent. He was a GOOD neighbor! Hank often expressed that his policyholders were like friends and family. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. His extraordinary kindness, generosity, and love of life inspired those who knew him. His beautiful smile, dazzling eyes, and marvelous sense of humor will continue on in our memories. Daddy we can still feel your hugs & we are smiling!!!
