In loving memory of Bobby Dean Ware, 60 years old, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007, in St. John's Medical Center after a difficult battle with lung cancer. Bob was born April 29, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri, to Orville and Opal Ware. He was married to his wife and lifelong partner, Carol, for 41 years and shared two wonderful children. Bob had a life-long passion for auto racing. In his early years, he enjoyed racing his own "Yellow and Black #55" on the local dirt tracks. To his delight, his two sons shared the same passion for auto racing. Many people also came to know Bob through his employment at McKinney Bedding Company. He served as Plant Manager and worked at this facility for over 40 years. Bob is survived by his wife Carol; two sons, Bobby Jr. and David; three brothers, Phillip, Roney, and Larry; a sister, Linda; and three grandchildren, Brett, Autumn, and Katie. Bob was an extraordinary man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007, in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 24, 2007, in the funeral home.
