Jerry Brevard
Jerry Lewis Brevard, 80, of Circleville, a former resident of East End and a retired candy maker, died Saturday at a Columbus Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Brevard was born Feb. 12, 1882, in California, Pa. He resided on Cleveland Ave. when here and was a former member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church. He owned and operated a retail store in Pittsburgh for 55 years. He moved to Circleville last April. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Callie Allison Brevard at home; a son, Paul Lewis Brevard of Circleville; a brother, Charles Brevard of Pittsburgh, and three grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Welch Funeral Home at Hookstown by the Rev. S. H. Estel of the Oakland church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
