Member of the New Zealand World War One entertainers, the Digger Pierrots. Wrote music for 'New Zealand, 'Land Neath The Southern Cross' with words by Geo A Troup. He died on the 6th of April 1918 from appendicitus while on leave in England. Identification and information on death provided by Anna Kenny (great-great niece on 20.03.99 and 18 May 2008)
