Age 88. At rest on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eileen (nee McManus) Hebenstreit. Loving father of, Judi (John) Logan, John Jr. (Joann) Hebenstreit and Jean (Bill) Clemmons. Devoted grandfather of, Jamie, Kelli, John, John, Jeff, John and Amanda; sister-in-law, Grace (Dan Miguire) (late Joseph) Hebenstreit. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Irene (nee O'Neil) Hebenstreit; three brothers, Joseph, Frank and James Hebenstreit.
John was born in Falls City, Nebraska and has resided in Plainfield since 1990. Retired in 1977 as a Special Agent with the F.B.I. after 35 years of service. Tezak Funeral Home
