Violet L. Brown, 85, of Cordele, died at Crisp Regional Hospital Monday, January 15, 2007. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna. Mrs. Brown was born Sunday, February 6, 1921 in Dooly County and was the daug hter of the late Frank and Elsie Clark Coffee. She was a homemaker and a member of Third Street Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Katherine and Walter Allen of Vienna and Sandra and Winton Lowery of Cordele; two brothers, Tracy Coffee of Cordele and Frank Coffee, Jr. of Macon; a sister, Lena Elrod of Montezuma; five grandchildren, Kathi Ann Beavers of Lilly, Clay Lowery of Eatonton, Tracie Morgan of Dublin, Walter Allen of Huntsville, AL, and Matt Allen of Empire; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany Beavers, Kenneth Beavers, Jr., and Mary Kate Beavers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas Brown.
