He was born in New Martinsville, WV, on August 18, 1946, a son of Arza and Ada Chambers Eddy. He was a graduate of Paden City High School with the class of 1964 and entered the U.S. Army January 3, 1966. He was a member of the Paden Fork Chapel Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents were one brother, Edward Lee of Paden City, his maternal grandfather Robert Chambers of Paden City, his paternal grandparents, Clem and Celia Eddy of Paden City, and two nieces Tammy Lea and Pamela Ann Eddy, both of Paden City, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral arrangenments were handled by the Mowery Funeral Home of Paden City, WV.
Jerry is buried in Paden Memorial Gardens, in Paden City, WV.
