CHESAPEAKE - Jessie Mae Taylor Foxwell, 85, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007. She was retired from the General Electric Corp. as a television assembler. Born in North Carolina, she was the widow of William Shepheard Foxwell, Jr. Survivors include two sons, William S. Foxwell, III and his wife, Lynne and Milton Foxwell and his wife, Debbie all of Chesapeake; and a sister-in-law, Gwendolyn R. Cusic of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Baumgardner. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 10, 2007 in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Donald L. Hardaway. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caring Center of Central Baptist Church, 701 W. Onley Rd., Norfolk, VA 23507. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
