Stella Marie was only 18 when she passed from this earth due to Tuberculosis. She was the loving daughter of Cable Lane and the beloved niece of Alice Honey Lane. She was the granddaughter of Alice Lane and William J. Lane. She was buried on January 1, 1945 in the midst of a snow storm. The snow was so bad that the hearse had to back up the hill to where she was to be interred. It was such a sad moment for all.
