Irene Isabelle Ulsh Campbell, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Catholic Care Center in Wichita, KS at the age of 82 years and 5 months.
Funeral services are 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 15 at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Burial follows at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Irene was born November 11, 1923 at the family farm 2 miles south of Peabody, KS. She was the oldest of four children born to Roy Gerald and Frances Gladys (Slater) Ulsh. She and George F. Campbell were united in marriage on April 16, 1950. To this union was born three children, Marc Alan, Priscilla Rae and Phyllis Louise.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, George, her parents Roy and Frances, and brother, Lawrence. She leaves as her survivors, son, Marc and wife, Carol Campbell of Wichita, KS; daughter, Priscilla and husband, Chris Tiger of Owasso, OK and daughter, Phyllis and husband, Don Hasty of Ashland, KS; grandchildren, Matthew, Carla, Jeffrey and Kevin Campbell, Amy (Brian) Givens, Aaron (Heather) Tiger and Justin, Jordan and Emily Hasty; her sister and brother, Maxine Ulsh and Irvin Ulsh; sister-in-law, Alice Ulsh; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
