Associate Reformed Presbyterian newspaper - 7 Sep 1892 issue
"Bessie Bradley, daughter of Josephine and G.T. Bradley, died at her home in Freestone county, Texas, July 19, 1892, aged 18 years and 4 months. A little over three years ago her pastor was preaching in Harmony church; during the discourse he noticed her peculiarly earnest and delicate face. Once and again he met the gaze of moistened eyes, that told of emotion calm but deep...soon afterwards it was his privilege to hear her confess Christ before men and to receive her into the A.R.P church. She had a bright mind and her parents sought to have it developed. She had recently graduated with first honor at Sherman, Texas...[died of typhoid fever]. "
