REIDSVILLE -- Erastus Allen Denmark Jr., 73 died Feb. 11 at Tattnall Memorial Hospital.

The Bulloch County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired as chief warrant officer after 23 years. He was also retired as unit manager with The Georgia State Prison. He was a Free & Accepted Mason serving with the Rising Sun Lodge No. 32 and a member of Reidsville Baptist Church.

SURVISORS: a son, Allen Denmark III of Reidsville; three sisters, Couerd Alene Marburger of Savannah, and Edith Smith and Beatrice DeLoach, both of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Chapel in Glennville.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday at Carter Funeral Chapel, Glennville, burial in Red Hill Church Cemtery in Bulloch County with full military honors.
