Mrs. Louanna Griffith, 71, pioneer resident of the Corinth Community, was buried at Old Hall Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, after funeral services by Rev. C.M. Matthews of Fort Worth.
Mrs. Griffith died Monday at the home of her son, Virgil T. Griffith in Fort Worth. He is the only surviving child.
Mrs. Griffith had lived at Corinth many years, but had been making her home recently with her son in Fort Worth while he attended the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (adapted from the Denton Record-Chronicle).
