Nellie L. Hall, 89, of Beaumont born February 16, 1916 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, passed away October 29, 2005 in Beaumont.

She was employed at the Crosby Hotel, Glen McCarthy Oil and Gas Company and retired with twenty years service with Dr. Gill, Shorkey, and Bessell. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont.

She is survived by her son, D. Ray Carr and his wife Jackie of Beaumont; stepdaughter, Sharon Garvin of Hamshire; and stepsons, Gary Hall and Tommy Hall both of Beaumont. Baby Nell is also survived by her brothers, Al Adams of Hitchcock, Texas and Dick Spriggs of Sulphur, Louisiana; sisters, Ethel Howell of Vidor, Martha Bowen, Ruby Stevenson, and Fay Finley all of Beaumont and Maudie Kibedaux of China; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Her brothers, Willie, Frank, Charles, and Morris Ray "Buck" Adams; and her sister, Ida Golibart preceded Nellie in death.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2005 at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery, Winnie. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Baptist Church, 1860 West Lucas, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
