Harold Vincent Sullivan was the son of Michael P. Sullivan and his second wife Theresa Junkins, and the younger brother of Helen Held. Their mother died of tuberculosis when Helen was three and Harold was just one year old. The two siblings were also afflicted with the disease, which killed many of the family. He was a baggage handler for the railroad and travelled around the country in search of treatments. Harold was a resident for a time at the Cresson Sanitorium in Cambria County. Harold died at age 24 years, less than a year after his sister.

SULLIVAN - On Thursday, Oct. 4, 1923, at 5:30 a.m., Harold Vincent, son of Michael P. and the late Tessie R. Jenkins Sullivan, in his 25th year. Funeral from the family residence, 7306 Monticello St., on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 8:30 a.m. Solemn requiem high mass at Holy Rosary Church, at 9 o'clock. Members of the Holy Name society and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
