Charles W. Morse, 72, a farmer and a lifelong residence of Dyer, died Friday at 7:30 AM in a Forth Smith hospital after a week's illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Dyer Baptist Church. Burial was in the Morse Cemetery at Dyer. Survivors include his wife, Olivia Johnson Morse, three sons, Ervis Morse and Earl Morse and Selmer Morse all of Dyer, two brothers, R. W. Morse and Percival Morse both of Checotah, Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Chitwood of Dyer and Mrs Ana Brady of Eufaula, Oklahoma.
