Victor was the son of Digna B. Banuelos Acosta and stepson of Isidro C. Acosta of Crestmore, in Bloomington, California. He was a dedicated family man who loved his children very much. He was a Christian later in life. He attended and played prep. football at Colton and Bloomington High Schools. He was a Marine who served in combat in South Vietnam. Victor was great sports fan of the Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, Bruins, and Trojans.
