Mrs. McCraw entered into rest October 30, 2006 in Bossier City. She was a resident of Elm Grove, LA for forty years. Catherine worked in the Ordinance Plant during World War II. She was a retired Chief Operator for Bell South after twenty-eight years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and she was an active in the American Legion Aux. Number 388 and a member of the Caddo Salon Number 658 of the 8 and 40.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gray H. McCraw; son, Frank E. Chadwick, Sr.; three brothers, Frank M. Clements, Harris A. Clements, and Ross L. Clements.
Survivors include her son, Leo R. Chadwick and his wife Jewell of Elm Grove, LA; daughter-in-law, Louisa Kay Chadwick of Lafayette, LA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the South Bossier Volunteer Fire Department.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Mrs. McCraw's caregivers, Pauline Mellen, Daun Hostetter, and Barbara White.
