She first married Lawrence Edward Oldham about 1949 and they had 6 children born between 1951 and 1959. Lawrence served in the Pacific Theater during WWII, was captured and was a Japanese prisoner of war for nearly 4 years. His POW experience resulted in his early death at the age of 46 in 1966.
Onealure married for the second time on January 5, 1976 to Roy Carroll, brother of John Shearon Carroll who was married to her sister-in-law Ellen Belle Oldham Carroll.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Don R. Wood Auditorium in Clayton with Don Davidson, Ruth Henderson and Jon MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Clayton Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Ms. Carroll was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Houston, Miss., to Moses Lewis and Ava Cuave Lewis. She dedicated her life in service to God, family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Avabelle Oldham of Tucumcari and Barbara Dean Williams of Clayton; four sons, Lawrence Edward "Larry" Oldham of Denver, Arnold Everet Oldham of Flora Vista, Daniel Herman Oldham of Meridian, Miss., and Kenneth Earl Oldham of Raton; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Lou Anderson and Mary Bassett; and five brothers, Albert E. Lewis, James R. Lewis, Huey Lewis, Charles Lewis and Murray Lewis.
