I remember very little about my aunt doll. Her mother died when she was about 15 years old. She referred to my mother as 'the angel.' Her step daughter, who I had met once when I was five years old, found me on the internet and contacted me to tell me that Ruby Colleen Smith Baggarly had passed away. She also came for a visit bearing boxes of photographs of the Smith, Elrod, McGaughey and Lee families. When aunt doll passed away, I was told that she bequeathed $300,000 dollars to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Looking at the photographs I see a resemblance of the shape through my aunt's nose, my father's nose, my nose, and my daughter's nose. Rest in peace aunt doll.
