Adam Bishop, 28, of Palestine, Texas, died January 2, 2002, in an automobile accident in northern Anderson County. Burial at Land of Memory Cemetery was under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory. He was born November 14, 1973, in Houston, Texas. He was a 1992 graduate of Palestine High School and lived in Palestine most of his life. He was a Christian and attended First Baptist Church of Palestine. He was employed by Energy Transport Co. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John N. Bishop. Mr. Bishop is survived by his parents, Wlliam Lee and Wanda Grasty Bishop of Palestine; brother, Lee Bishop Jr. of Palestine; grandparents, Lloyd and Elsie Grasty and Rilla Bishop, all of Montalba. Pallbearers will be Jason Starr, Doug Mullican, Matthew Herbrough, Eddy Hutchinson, Jason Pryor, and Tony Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Max Davis and Dan Gold.
