Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Austin, Jr., age 32 of Main St. Tiro died unexpectedly at his home Friday, October 20, 2006 following an apparent heart attack.
Born May 2, 1974 in Shelby to Ronald Sr. and Jovetta (Gregory) Austin, of Tiro, he had lived the majority of his life in the Tiro area. Ronnie was employed with S&S Enterprises of Crestline and formerly with Kovack Maintenance in Shelby. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by his wife, Connie (Carroll) Austin whom he wed June 9, 2000; three sons, Kyle Lee, Dustin Lee and Ronald Lee Austin III; two daughters, Jenifer Lois Lynn and Melody Dianna Austin, all of Tiro; a brother, Richard Lee Austin, of Tiro; two sisters, Lisa (David) Jones of Knoxville, TN and Stacey (John) Evans of Tiro; four aunts and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Lois Austin, and Howard Gregory and Gwendlyn Reed; and an uncle, Lanny Gregory.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Ralph Kusserow, of the Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the family.
