Dorothy H Lang, 84, of 1402 Warm Springs Ave., Huntingdon, died at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday Jan 12, 1987 at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Her death was unexpected, occurring shortly after her arrival at the hospital Thursday. She was born on Aug 6, 1902 in Petersburg, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Hoffman. She was united in marriage to Harry R. Lang who preceded her in death in July of 1962. She is survived by three sons: Gerald H Lang and Harry R Lang Jr., both of Huntingdon and Charles G. Lang of Petersburg, R.D.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Pauline) Smith of Lewistown. Mrs. Lang was of the Protestant faith. She worked several years as a salesperson for J.C. Penney in Huntingdon. She has been retired for the past several years. She attended the Petersburg public schools and Juniata College. She had been a resident of Huntingdon since 1950. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, at the J.B. Brown Funeral Home, Huntingdon. Interment will be made in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Petersburg. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sat., Feb. 14, after 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
