Roland B. "R.B." FRANTZ, 84, of Fairview, OK, died June 17,1993. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 19,at 11 a.m. in Balko Mennonite Brethren Church, with Rev. J.W. Fast officiating. Burial followed in Balko Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home.

He was born April 3, 1909 in Balko, OK, and 'married Louise NEUFELD in Balko on July 16, 1933. The couple lived in Balko until they moved to Perryton in 1958. They moved to Fairview in 1989. He was a farmer and worked as a carpenter while living in Perryton.

A member of the Balko Mennonite Brethren Church, he sang in the men's choir and served on the board of trustees for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Louise, of the home; two sons, Orlan FRANTZ and Howard FRANTZ, both of Balko; two daughters, Mildred VOGT of Denver, CO and Joyce SAWATZKY of Perryton; two sisters, Sophia REGIER of Enid, OK and Mabel REGIER of Fairview; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
