James and Sarah were buried in the Bonar Family Cemetery located on the old homestead of his parents. This land on Fork Ridge is now occupied by the family of Clarence Woods.
Ethel (Bonar) Welmaker says that James, Sarah, and children Sarah Ellen and Matthew are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery; another record says that the markers were removed from the Bonar Cemetery and placed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

I think she died in 1836, not 1856. I've added a picture of her headstone, and the 183 shows up pretty well and you can make out the 6 if you try. Below that it says she was 36 years old, I believe.
