Kathy and I got Matty from a farm near Cross Village in February 2001, after she had 10 puppies. She bonded with us almost immediately when we first saw her. She received the Blessing of the Pets from Rev. Tom Neis (1926-2007) in Charlevoix on the way home, and over the years, Matty had her little traits about her. She would lift her front paw when something got her attention, and she later would bark when she wanted back in the house, and put her paw on Daddy's leg when he was sitting at the computer. When we got Trooper, another Boxer, she would romp with him in the back yard and they would sleep together on the couch. What a wonderful little girl she has been to us, and we look foward to being with her again in the Hereafter. Jesus, watch over Matty for us. We love you, Matty, and miss you very much.
