Services for May Louise Walter Bear, 67, Diamond City, Ark., formerly of Indianapolis, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home, with calling from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. She died Tuesday in North Arkansas Medical Center, Harrison, Ark. She had been an assembly line worker at the Link-Belt Division of PT Components Inc. 26 years, retiring in 1973. Born in Indianapolis, she lived here most of her life before moving to Arkansas. She was the widow of Omar C. Bear Sr. Survivors: daughter, Mildred L. Ginn; sons, Charles F., Donald L., Omar C. Jr., Carl M., Willard R. and James H. Bear; brothers, Willard, Leonard and Charles Walter; sisters, Mildred A. Walter, Myla F. Nicholson, Margaret J. Bunnell, Clara E. Humble, Alice Schafer and Reta T. Robbins; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
