Cessna.At the home of her son Charles A., at Smithfield, Fayette County, Pa., on the evening of January 21, 1920, Mrs. Mary E. Cessna departed this life from an apoplectic attack. She was the oldest daughter of the late Jacob and Eliza Krichbaum, born at Bedford June 28, 1840. In 1858 she was united in marriage to Jacob S. Cessna, who died some fifteen years ago. Her whole married life was passed in Cumberland Valley Township in the vicinity of Centreville, but since the death of her husband she has made her home with her daughter Clara and her son Charles. She leaves to mourn her departure the following children: Alice Gillum of Cumberland, Md; T. Benton of Mt. Pleasant; John K. and Charles A. and Clara Echart of Smithfield; Harry A. of Columbus, Ohio and Dora Vermuth of Cumberland Valley township and also by one brother, John G. Krichbaum of Woodbury, Pa. She taught school in her early life, and was a member of the Methodist Church for more than sixty-five years.
