Seminole resident Jerry Lee Marley Jr., 77, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006
He was born Nov. 16, 1928, in Earlsboro to Jerry Lee Marley Sr. and Walsie Mae (Parker) Marley.

He married Loretta Jane Morrel on Feb. 17, 1954, in Yuma, Ariz.

Jerry served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict as a welder. He also flew supplies over Hawaii.

He raised his family working as a driller for Service Drilling Company and as a cross country truck driver.

He was a member of the Highway Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one infant baby and his youngest son, Karry Marcus Marley.

He is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Lee III and Kathy Marley of Cromwell, Larry Don and Nita Marley of Sallisaw, Gary Reece and Jackie Marley of Madera, Calif., Perry Dalton Marley of Orange Lake, Fla., and Terry Mitchell and Donna Marley of Seminole; two daughters and sons-in-law; Sherry LaNee4 and Kevin Keeth of Depew and Shelly JoLeene and Gregg Comstock of Seminole; and one sister, Jen Goff, of Pink.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Carl Whitfield and Larry Chesser Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County.
