Funeral services for Edward Ward Aharrah, who came to his death Thursday, July 26, 1951, while at work for the West Penn Power Company near Pleasant View School in Manor Twp., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Church of God. The services will be in charge of Mr. Aharrah's pastor, Rev. H.W. Woods, assisted by Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Burial will be made in the Cochran Cemetery. Friends will be received in the home until 1 p.m. Sunday, when the body will be removed to the church where friends may pay their respects until the time of th service. According to the Armstrong Co. Coroner C.M. Woodward, death was the result of coming in contact with an electric wire. Mr. Aharrah was aged 42 years, two months, and 29 days having been born in Sigel, a son of James Aharrah and the late Elsie (Fowler) Aharrah. He was a member of the Church of God and the Templeton Lodge Knights of Pythias. Surviving are his wife, Mary (McCoy) Aharrah; one son, Donald Neil; three daughters Delores, Kathryn, and Virginia all at home and his father who makes his home with his son, and one sister Mrs. Norman Rankin, of Duke Center. The family was planning to leave sunday for a week's vacation.
