Robert A. Adams, a well known resident of this place died Monday morning at 8 o'clock folling an illness of sometime. He was born October 8, 1867 and was the son of the late John and Catherine Adams. He was active in the affairs of the community and was constable of Pine Township at the time of his death.
He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Charles E. Slagle, with whom he made his home; four grandchildren and the following brothes and sisters, Samuel Adams, Oak Ridge, Simeon Adams, Climax; John Adams, Kittanning, Clark Adams, Templeton: Mrs. C.M. Reedy, Rimersburg; Mrs. Elsie Keener, Plumville; Mrs N.M. George, St. Charles; Mrs. J.J. Kammerdiener, West Kittanning, and Clarissa Adams of Plumville. Mrs. Adams died 18 years ago.
A large concourse of people attended the funeral service for Robert A. Adams, who died at his home early Monday morning, in Zion Wesleyan Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by the pastor Rev. Thurman McCracken. The pallbearers were: W.H. Buzzard, J.H. Miller, S.E. Wagner, W.H. Miller, J.R. McAfoose and H.R. Bowser. The interment took place in the Cochran Cemetery.
