Riley J. Vaughn was my grandfather, and I am told he would stand under a large cedar or spruce tree in the old section of Clarksville Cemetery, with his hat in hand as he visited his mother's grave. I went to the cemetery to find grandma Emma's grave but the old family stones were broken and someone had thrown them into a ravine near the graves.
My grandpa Riley Jackson Vaughn was named after his Uncle Riley Andrew Jackson Rahel who died at 19 years old, meaning his death was in 1873, NOT 1878. There is no Loyde Rahel/Rayhel/Rayhill in this family. No Loyde at all, I don't know where that comes from. Except Geneanet seems to merge everyone's research, so beware.
