A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Wright was retired from Fiber Industries and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a staff sergeant in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Maggie Ware Wright, and six brothers, Broadus, Graham, Joseph M., Spurgeon, Virgil and Horace Wright.
He is survived by four sisters, Ruth Wright of Washington, D.C., Mary Stallings of Shelby, Lois Mason of Lynchburg, Va., and Ruby Young of Pullman, Wash.
