Cowpens- Frances Gossett Cash, 85, of 750 Iron Bridge Road, died July 19, 1988 at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Judd Lee Cash and the daughter of the late Samuel Brysun and Allamay Blanton Gossett. She was a housewife and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Carnell Bishop of Mayo, Doris Cantrell and Brenda Reynolds of Cowpens, Carolyn Thompson of Spartanburg and Marilyn Henderson of Chesnee; three sons, Hillard and William C. Cash Sr. of Cowpens and Bobby Dean Cash of Spartanburg; a brother, Charlie Gossett of Cowpens; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Mt. Olive Baptist Church by the Revs. Ray Caldwell, Dennis Spencer and Christopher Emory. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Forest Lawn Mortuary of Chesnee is in charge of arrangements.
