Joyce Ann Burns, 57, of Crossett died Saturday, April 10, 2004. Born July 30, 1946, in Crossett to Arnold and Verceolia Reynolds Haynes, she was a member of Hunter's Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an honorary member of the usher board.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Haynes of Crossett; four daughters, Latashia Webb of Killeen, TX, Verceolia (Queisha) Brown of Fort Leonard, MO and Shaffie Miller and Talisha Simpson, both of Crossett; five brothers, O'Clever Haynes of Las Vegas, NV, and Rance Haynes, Ulish Haynes, Michael Williams and Cedric Williams, all of Crossett; two sisters, Shelia Williams and Inger Williams, both of Crossett; and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Webb; one brother, Randy Haynes; and two sisters, Johnnie Norwood and Glenda Faye Simpson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Wilton Baines officiating. Burial was at Quinn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were Troy Webb, Ray Charles Martin, Johnny R. Todd, Leonard Webb, Curtis Logan, Lee Fred Brown, Billy Taylor and Michael Scott.
