Blanche was born June 12, 1929 on a farm east of Linton in the Omio District, the daughter of Clarence and Vada (Becker) Doolittle.
Blanche married Christ A. Vetter on September 10, 1946 in Linton, ND. They farmed in the Linton area for 42 years before moving into Linton. Christ died on May 9, 1987.
Grateful to have shared her life are her three sons and daughters-in-law: Floyd and Heleen Vetter of Linton, Barry and Dawn Vetter of Buckeye, AZ; and Donald and Donna Vetter of Walnut Grove, MO; three grandchildren: Michael Vetter, Helana Vetter and Allan Vetter; and four great grandchildren: Halley Vetter, Bethanie Ternes, Dominic Vetter and Rachael Vetter; one brother-in-law: Frank Vetter of Braddock, ND; many special nieces and nephews and a special friend, Lorraine Fahlsing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, Fern V. Walther and May B. Vetter and one brother, Curtis Doolittle.
The funeral services for Blanche A. Vetter, 77, of Linton, ND will be held Thursday August 24, 2006 at the United Methodist Church, Linton with the Rev. Rick Craig officiating. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery.
