MCCOOLE - Mrs. Stella Lee Rose Beckman, 63, wife of Courtney H. Beckman, died yesterday after an extended illness.
Mrs. Beckman was born near Oakland, the daughter of Jacob and Julia (Lower) Gower.
Formerly of Luke, she had resided here seven years. She held membership in McCoole Community Church.
Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Ternent, Lonaconing; three sons, Franklin Beckman, Piedmont: Willis Beckman, McCoole; and Leo Beckman, Westernpor; a sister, Mrs. Ray Bittinger, Mt. Lake Park; and eight grandchildren.
The body is at the residence. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in McCoole Community church by Rev. John McLeod, pastor of Keyser Presbyterian Church. Burial will take place in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
