"Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Eldorado Universalist church for Mrs. Nora Banfill, age 72, who died Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Gilson, west of Lewisburg, after a (unreadable word) illness. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.A. Zimmerman and burial was made in the Monroe cemetery. Besides Mrs. Gilson, there are three other daughters, surviving as follows: Mrs. Ethel Vore, of Lewisburg, Mrs. Mary Petry of Dayton, and Mrs. Ruby Bellew of Richmond; also two sons, Russell of Lewisburg, and Chester of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Roop of Richmond, and five half-brothers."
