CALVERT CITY, Ky. — Hazel Barrett, 87, of Calvert City died Friday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Barrett was a greeter at Wal-Mart and a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Harvey Barrett of Calvert City; one sister, Doris Ellington of Calvert City; two brothers, Ward "Sonny" Butler of Livingston County and William Butler of Calvert City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Barrett; one daughter, Wanda June Pancheshan; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were Will Butler and Ivalena Dunn Butler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Collier Funeral Home, with Elder Robert Chandler officiating. Interment will be at Provine Cemetery in Benton.
