Memorial Mass for Rosella M. (Fallert) Ackerman, 91, was held Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Harrington, Wash. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport, Wash., was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ackerman, who was born in Harrington, died Sunday. She had been a resident of Spokane for 20 years.
She graduated from Harrington High School and also graduated from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1934. Mrs. Ackerman worked as a nurse in Spokane for 10 years before moving to Salem, Ore., where she worked at Oregon Memorial Hospital for 35 years.
Her husband of 46 years, Jack, died in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Roxanne Overton of San Clemente, Calif.; a sister, Katherine Yarwood of Spokane; and two grandchildren.
