after Beulah married Anton, she invited her younger sister Josephine and Anton's nephew Arthur to Sunday dinner, and the rest as they say is history. Arthur and Josephine married and had 6 sons and 1 daughter, and were married for 48 years at Arthur's death.. So, I guess my Great Aunt Beulah was a matchmaker!

Her step-daughter Martha Pauline Ackerman
and her younger sister Josephine B Stanley Ackerman,
were the very best of friends all their lives.
