Leaves Widow, Son and Daughter
Funeral Wednesday
David Morton Lee, 56, passed away at his home at 117 1/2 South Broadway at 10:30 am today following a stroke of paralysis he received shortly after midnight Sunday morning.
The deceased was a son of William and Matilda (Glenn) Lee and was born in Rush County, April 25, 1876. He married Susan Shaffer in Greensburg, Sept. 30, 1902, and has since resided here. He was a member of the Order of Eagles. He had not been well for some time, but his death came as a surprise to the family and friends.
The survivors are the widow, a son, Roy Lee, and a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Mabel) Palmer, of this city. One child died in infancy and a son, Kenneth passed away at the age of four years. There are also four brothers, Frank, Clarence, Jesse and George Lee, and a sister, Mrs. William (Lula) McCormack.
The funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Leslie Palmer, 131 West Hendricks Street, at 2 pm Wednesday, the Rev. O. T. Martin officiating. Burial in South Park Cemetery.
